🛠️ Managing Editors and Team Members

Editors and managers can help run your Clipify.us setup without sharing your Twitch login. Invite them to your workspace, choose what they may manage and keep ownership of your account. ✨ This is for creators who want trusted moderators, editors or managers to help with the work behind their stream. 💎 Creator team invitations require Pro access. The creator's plan determines which features are available. Your editor does not need a personal Pro subscription to use the features you authorize for your Pro creator account. 👥 Choose the right access Open Dashboard > Settings > Team members for the workspace you want to manage. You can choose a role or, as the owner, adjust individual permissions: - Operations: Broad access to day-to-day creator tools, such as overlays, playlists, galleries and runners. This role does not include billing or team administration by default. - Content manager: Playlist and gallery management. - Analyst: Analytics and audit access. - Billing manager: Subscription and billing management. - Custom: Choose the specific permissions a person needs. 🔒 Give only the access needed: Someone helping with playlists does not automatically need permission to delete overlays, manage billing or invite other people. ✉️ Invite a team member 1. Select Invite member. 2. Enter the email address the person will use to sign in. 3. Choose their role and review the permissions. 4. Select Create and email to send the invitation, or Create link to copy and share it yourself. 5. Ask the person to open the invitation and accept it. Invitations belong to the email address you entered. Share copied invitation links only with the intended person. ✅ Accept an invitation When the invited person opens the link, Clipify.us guides them through verifying the invited email address and joining the workspace. - An emailed invitation can verify the address through its sign-in link. - For a copied invitation link, the recipient can request a six-digit email code, enter it and continue. - If they are already signed in with a different email address, they should choose Use another account. They do not need to share or use the creator's Twitch password. If an invitation is expired, revoked or already used, the creator should check its status and create a new invitation if needed. 🔑 Sign in again later After accepting the invitation, use the editor sign-in page. 1. Enter the email address invited to the workspace. 2. Request a sign-in code and enter the six-digit code from the email. 3. If you have access to several workspaces, select the one you want to open and continue. If you have only one workspace, Clipify.us opens it automatically after sign-in. Creators can continue to use their usual Twitch login. 🎛️ What a team member can manage Depending on their permissions and the creator's plan, a member can help with: - Creating and customizing overlays. - Building playlists, adding clips and changing their order. - Creating galleries and managing publication settings. - Preparing playback, queues and live controls. - Managing runners or viewing analytics when authorized. Access is permission-based. Billing or team-management actions are available only when those permissions are explicitly assigned; the standard Operations and Content manager roles do not include them. The creator remains the owner. An editor's personal subscription does not upgrade the creator's account or bypass its limits. 🛠️ Change or remove access Return to Team members to edit a member's access, cancel a pending invitation or remove someone who no longer needs access. You need the corresponding permission to perform those actions. Removing a member does not transfer ownership of resources they created for your workspace. Review their access to other services separately when a collaboration ends. 💜 Keep collaboration simple Agree on who can publish galleries, replace playlists or change a live overlay before your next stream. 🔗 Embedding Overlays

Embedding overlays allows you to display your clipify.us overlays outside of OBS, for example on websites, landing pages, or custom stream layouts. ✨ This feature is designed to showcase clips on your website. ⚠️ Overlay URLs vs Embed URLs There are two different types of overlay URLs. 🔒 Normal Overlay URLs Normal overlay URLs are intended for use in streaming software such as OBS. - ❌ Do not share this URL publicly - ❌ Not intended for embedding on websites - ❌ Clip player contains overlay & is controlled by commands For embedding overlays on external sites, always use the Embed Widget Tool. 🧩 Embed Widget Tool The Embed Widget Tool allows you to generate embed ready links and code snippets for your overlays. With the Embed Widget Tool you can: - ✅ Generate URLs meant specifically for embedding - ✅ Intended for embedding on websites - ✅ Safe to share publicly - ✅ No overlay & is not affected by commands 📦 Branding and Plan Limits Branding behavior depends on your subscription plan. 🆓 Free Plan - clipify.us branding is always enabled on embeds - Branding cannot be disabled 💎 Pro Plan - Branding is disabled by default - Branding can be enabled manually if you want to support clipify.us and help us grow 🚫 Important Notes - Do not use normal overlay URLs for embedding - Only embed using links generated by the Embed Widget Tool - Sharing normal overlay URLs may expose overlay controls unintentionally

🔌 Connect Clipify.us to Your AI Tools

📍 Find it in: Dashboard > Settings > Connections > Connected AI apps. Setup time: about 5 minutes 🚀 Start here You can manage Clipify.us from an AI app: find clips, build playlists, customize overlays, create galleries and manage supported runner settings through a conversation. You do not need an API key. Your AI app opens Clipify.us so you can sign in, choose the creators it may access and approve its permissions. Your usual Clipify plan limits still apply. 🧩 Install the official ChatGPT plugin The official Clipify.us plugin is now available in ChatGPT. 1. Open Clipify.us in ChatGPT. 2. Install the plugin and connect your Clipify account when prompted. 3. On Clipify's authorization page, choose the creators and permissions you want to allow, then approve the connection. 4. Start a conversation, type @ and choose Clipify.us. No API key or manual MCP server setup is needed for the official plugin. For other AI tools or a manual connection, use the connection details below. 🔌 Connection details - Name: Clipify.us - Server URL: https://clipify.us/mcp - Connection type: Streamable HTTP (sometimes called HTTP) - Authentication: OAuth Leave API key, custom headers and manually supplied client ID or client secret fields empty. Use automatic OAuth setup when offered. If your app only supports API keys and cannot open an OAuth sign-in flow, these instructions do not apply to that app. You can also connect manually using the server URL above. The available menus can differ by your AI app version, plan and workspace permissions. 🛠️ Optional ChatGPT manual setup For the simplest setup, use the official plugin linked above. The following is an alternative for accounts that support custom MCP servers. 1. Open ChatGPT on the web and go to Plugins. 2. Select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server. 3. Enter Clipify.us as the name and https://clipify.us/mcp as the server URL. 4. Choose OAuth authentication. Use automatic registration or the supported published client identity option instead of entering your own credentials. 5. Review the connection notice and select Create as a plugin. 6. Install the resulting plugin and connect your Clipify.us account. On Clipify's authorization page, select the creator and permissions you want to allow. 7. Start a conversation, type @, and select Clipify.us. If you cannot add custom MCP servers, check your account's available features and workspace permissions. You do not need to upload a ZIP for this URL-based setup. Official ChatGPT setup instructions 💬 Claude 1. Open Customize > Connectors. 2. Select + Add > Add custom connector. 3. Enter Clipify.us and https://clipify.us/mcp. 4. Keep the detected OAuth authentication. If asked how Claude should identify itself, use its published identity or automatic registration. Do not add request headers or your own API key. 5. Add the connector and choose Connect or Sign in now. 6. Sign in to Clipify.us and approve your chosen creators and permissions. 7. Enable Clipify.us for the conversation using the + > Connectors menu. For managed Team or Enterprise accounts, an owner or administrator may need to add the connector first. Each user then connects their own Clipify.us account. Official Claude setup instructions 💻 Codex In the Codex CLI, run: codex mcp add clipify --url https://clipify.us/mcp codex mcp login clipify If adding the server already starts sign-in, complete that flow; the second command is only needed if authentication is still required. Approve access in your browser, then use /mcp in Codex to check the connection. In the Codex IDE extension, open MCP servers > Add server, choose Streamable HTTP, enter the URL and select Authenticate when prompted. Official Codex setup instructions 🧑‍💻 Claude Code Run: claude mcp add --transport http --scope user clipify https://clipify.us/mcp Open Claude Code, run /mcp, select Clipify and follow the browser authentication flow. The user scope makes the connection available across your projects. Official Claude Code setup instructions ✨ Try your first request Start with something simple: Use Clipify.us to show my creators and list my overlays. Then try: Create a playlist called Minecraft highlights using my Minecraft clips between 10 and 40 seconds long. Or: Create a new overlay using that playlist and make its background bright red. The AI app may ask you to confirm changes. Review those confirmations before approving them. Actions also depend on the permissions you selected and your creator's plan. 🔒 Choose permissions and disconnect The Clipify.us authorization page controls which creators and actions the connection can use. Choose read-only access if you only want the AI app to inspect your setup, or allow the editing actions you need. To stop an app's access, open Dashboard > Settings, open Connections, find Connected AI apps and choose Disconnect for that connection. You can also remove the connector from your AI app. 🛠️ Troubleshooting - The app asks for an API key: Check that you selected a remote HTTP MCP connection with OAuth. Clipify.us does not require you to generate a key for this flow. - No creators appear: Make sure you signed in to the correct Clipify.us account and approved the creator you want to manage. - An action is denied: Check the connection's permissions, your workspace access and your creator's plan. Reconnect if you need to approve different permissions. - New tools or descriptions are missing: Refresh the connection's tools in your AI app, then start a new conversation. Reconnect if your app does not offer a refresh option. - The authorization request expired: Start the connection again from your AI app rather than reusing an old authorization link. Need a hand? 🔄 Why Your Twitch Clips Are Not Showing in Clipify.us

Created a Twitch clip, but cannot find it in Clipify.us yet? Or selected older highlights and found that some are still missing? Clipify keeps a saved list of your Twitch clips so your setup does not have to load your entire channel history from Twitch every time you open it. That list is updated in the background, and a new or large channel history can take time to catch up. ✨ This guide helps you check what is happening before changing your playlist or overlay filters. 🔎 Check whether Twitch has the clip Open the clip on Twitch first. Make sure it is available and belongs to the creator you are managing in Clipify.us. A newly created clip may not appear in Twitch's clip listings immediately. Refreshing Clipify cannot make Twitch return a clip that Twitch has not made available yet. 📊 Open your clip crawl status Go to Dashboard > Settings and find Clip crawl status. There are two separate checks: - Latest clips: Looks for recent clips so your current content can become available without waiting for your entire history. - Clip history: Gradually works through older clips. A large history can need several checks to finish. The progress bar is an estimate of historical coverage, not a promise that every Twitch clip has already been found. Complete for history also does not mean a clip you created seconds ago is already in the saved list. ⏱️ Understand the next-check estimate You may see Checking now, Waiting to start or Next check in about X minutes. The time is an estimate. Available crawler capacity, your account's activity, Twitch response times and temporary rate limits can change when a check actually runs. Active setups are checked more often than inactive ones. Clipify's background scheduler checks for work regularly; that does not mean it downloads every user's complete clip history every minute. 🔄 Request a manual refresh 1. Open Dashboard > Settings > Clip crawl status. 2. Check Manual refresh to see whether it is available. 3. Select Force Refresh Cache once. 4. Wait for the queued check to run, then use Refresh statistics to update the displayed status. 5. Return to your playlist or overlay and check the available clips again. A manual refresh gives your latest-clip check priority. It does not delete your saved clips or restart your entire historical crawl from scratch. 🕒 A queued refresh is not a completed refresh. There is a cooldown between manual requests. Use the availability time shown in your dashboard rather than repeatedly pressing the button. Automatic checks continue independently of that cooldown. 🎛️ Check the filters too If a clip is saved but still does not appear in your selection, check: - The selected creator and game/category. - The date range, such as the last seven days. - Minimum views and clip duration. - Featured-only settings or blocked title words. - Whether your overlay uses a playlist that actually contains the clip. Try a wider selection temporarily to find the cause. A history scan cannot make an old clip match a last-seven-days filter. 🔑 Check your Twitch connection If Clipify tells you your Twitch connection has expired, sign in again with Twitch to reconnect it. A disconnected or disabled creator cannot continue normal background checks until access is restored. A clip that was deleted or made unavailable on Twitch cannot be restored by refreshing Clipify's list. 💬 Still missing something? Contact us with your creator name, a link to the missing Twitch clip and the status shown in your settings. Do not send your password, sign-in code or stream key. 💎 What Happens When Your Clipify Pro Access Ends

If your Clipify Pro subscription, trial or extra Pro access ends, you do not need to rebuild your setup from scratch. Your saved creator resources remain in your account. What changes is which features you can use. Free plan limits apply once you no longer have another active source of Pro access. ✨ This guide explains the difference between canceling a subscription, losing Pro access and deleting your account. 📅 Canceling does not always end access immediately If you cancel a paid subscription, your settings show when that access ends. You can normally continue using it until the end of the current paid period. A trial or other time-limited benefit has its own end date. Check the date shown in Dashboard > Settings rather than assuming every type of access ends in the same way. 💜 Other active Pro access still counts You might have Pro through a paid plan, a trial, your agency or another benefit, such as a partnership. If one of those ends while another still provides Pro, you keep Pro features. Canceling a subscription does not remove a separate active benefit, and an ending benefit does not cancel a paid subscription. Any applicable extra access period is reflected in your account. There is not one universal grace period for every cancellation or expiry. 📦 Your setup stays saved Ending Pro access does not delete your overlays, playlists, galleries or team data. Advanced settings also stay saved. 🔒 Saved does not mean unrestricted. Keeping your data lets you return to it later. It does not let paid features continue after Pro access ends. Account deletion is a different action with its own confirmation and recovery flow. 🆓 Free limits apply When your account has no active Pro access: - Free usage is limited to one eligible overlay, one playlist and one gallery. Additional resources stay saved, but are restricted rather than continuing as unlimited active resources. - Additional overlays and playlists remain available in read-only form rather than being deleted. - Free playlist playback is limited to the first 50 clips; additional saved clips are retained. - Advanced overlay settings remain saved but are not applied until Pro access returns. - Paid-only features such as advanced filters and chat controls are unavailable. Check the restrictions shown in your dashboard. Do not rely on an old OBS link or AI connection to bypass them; the same creator access limits apply across those paths. 🖥️ Runner access is separate The Runner add-on is separate from Pro. Ending Pro does not automatically remove separately active Runner access, and Pro alone does not automatically include the Runner add-on. If Runner access itself ends, its saved configuration remains, but runner control and associated streaming operation are paused. Check the products active on your account before assuming a Pro renewal will also restore Runner access. 🔓 Use your saved setup again If you regain Pro access, the Pro restrictions are lifted and your retained resources and settings become available according to that access. Review the setup before your next stream, especially if you have not used it for a while. If you still have Pro through another benefit but see a restriction, contact us so we can check your account.
