hat commands allow you to control your clip overlay directly from Twitch chat. This makes it easy for streamers and moderators to manage playback, visibility, and queues without leaving the stream. ✨ This feature is designed for live control and fast moderation. 💎 Chat commands require a Premium Subscription 👥 Who Can Use Chat Commands? Chat commands are restricted to specific roles. 🏷️ Required Roles - Broadcaster - Moderator Viewers without moderator permissions cannot use chat commands. ⚙️ Command Prefix All chat commands must start with a prefix. Default prefix: ! The prefix can be customized in your settings Examples: !play !pause Messages that do not start with the configured prefix will be ignored. 🕹️ Available Chat Commands Below is a full list of supported commands, including what they do and how to use them. <[param]> means the parameter is optional. - !play <[clip_url]> - Play a clip or resume playback - !pause - Pause the current clip - !skip - Skip the currently playing clip - !hide - Hide the overlay player - !show - Show the overlay player - !queue - Display the current mod and reward queues - !clearqueue <mod | reward> - Clear queues (mod, reward, or both) - !help - Show all available commands in chat

🛠️ Managing Editors

The Editor feature allows you to grant trusted users access to manage your overlays. Editors can help you create, update, and maintain overlays so you do not have to handle everything on your own. ✨ This feature is designed for streamers who want to allow mods and managers to help manage overlays. 💎 Editors require a Pro Subscription 👥 What Are Editors? Editors are trusted users that you add to your clipify.us account. They are typically moderators or managers who help manage overlays for your stream. Once added, editors can manage overlays on your behalf without needing access to your main account. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Editor Limits - You can add up to 5 editors - Editors must be added manually by the account owner - Editors can be removed at any time 🎛️ What Editors Can Do Editors have access to overlay management features. Editors can: - Create new overlays - Edit existing overlays - Delete overlays - Manage overlay settings - Create embedded overlays 📦 Plan Limits While Editing When editors manage overlays on behalf of a streamer, all limits and available features are determined by the plan of the account owner who added the editor. The editor’s own subscription does not affect which features are available. Examples: - An editor with a Pro plan managing overlays for a Free plan owner will only have Free plan features available - An editor on a Free plan managing overlays for a Pro plan owner will have access to Pro plan features while editing that owner's overlays Editors cannot unlock or bypass plan limitations. 🚫 What Editors Cannot Do Editors have limited access and cannot manage your account. Editors cannot: - Manage subscriptions or billing - Add or remove other editors - Access private account or payment information ⚙️ Managing Editors Editors are managed from your clipify.us dashboard.

🔗 Embedding Overlays

Embedding overlays allows you to display your clipify.us overlays outside of OBS, for example on websites, landing pages, or custom stream layouts. ✨ This feature is designed to showcase clips on your website. ⚠️ Overlay URLs vs Embed URLs There are two different types of overlay URLs. 🔒 Normal Overlay URLs Normal overlay URLs are intended for use in streaming software such as OBS. - ❌ Do not share this URL publicly - ❌ Not intended for embedding on websites - ❌ Clip player contains overlay & is controlled by commands For embedding overlays on external sites, always use the Embed Widget Tool. 🧩 Embed Widget Tool The Embed Widget Tool allows you to generate embed ready links and code snippets for your overlays. With the Embed Widget Tool you can: - ✅ Generate URLs meant specifically for embedding - ✅ Intended for embedding on websites - ✅ Safe to share publicly - ✅ No overlay & is not affected by commands 📦 Branding and Plan Limits Branding behavior depends on your subscription plan. 🆓 Free Plan - clipify.us branding is always enabled on embeds - Branding cannot be disabled 💎 Pro Plan - Branding is disabled by default - Branding can be enabled manually if you want to support clipify.us and help us grow 🚫 Important Notes - Do not use normal overlay URLs for embedding - Only embed using links generated by the Embed Widget Tool - Sharing normal overlay URLs may expose overlay controls unintentionally
