hat commands allow you to control your clip overlay directly from Twitch chat. This makes it easy for streamers and moderators to manage playback, visibility, and queues without leaving the stream.

đŸ‘Ĩ Who Can Use Chat Commands?

Chat commands are restricted to specific roles.

đŸˇī¸ Required Roles

  • Broadcaster

  • Moderator

Viewers without moderator permissions cannot use chat commands.


âš™ī¸ Command Prefix

All chat commands must start with a prefix.

Default prefix: !

The prefix can be customized in your settings

Examples:

!play
!pause

Messages that do not start with the configured prefix will be ignored.

Below is a full list of supported commands, including what they do and how to use them.

<[param]> means the parameter is optional.

  • !play <[clip_url]> - Play a clip or resume playback

  • !pause - Pause the current clip

  • !skip - Skip the currently playing clip

  • !hide - Hide the overlay player

  • !show - Show the overlay player

  • !queue - Display the current mod and reward queues

  • !clearqueue <mod | reward> - Clear queues (mod, reward, or both)

  • !help - Show all available commands in chat
