Control Clipify from Another Device

The Remote Control Panel is a Pro live-control interface for managing a Clipify overlay without switching back to its settings page. Use it on a phone, tablet, another browser window, or a second monitor.

Remote Control or chat commands?

Open the controller

Select an overlay in the dashboard and open its Remote Control Panel. Sign in with an authorized account when prompted. The controller is tied to that overlay, so confirm the overlay name before changing playback.

Available controls

• Play or resume and pause playback.
• Skip the current clip.
• Show or hide the player.
• Mute, unmute, and adjust volume.
• See the current clip and upcoming queue items.
• Add a moderator-selected clip.
• Review and clear moderator or viewer queue entries.
• Check whether the overlay player is connected and healthy.

Phone and tablet use

Keep the controller open in a browser tab and prevent the device from sleeping during an active show. A stable connection is important because the panel sends commands to the attached overlay in real time.

Remote Control versus chat commands

The Remote Control Panel is a visual remote with status and queue information. Chat commands are fast text actions for the broadcaster or moderators already working in Twitch chat. Both control the same overlay state, but the panel is better when you need volume controls, queue visibility, or a dedicated second-screen workflow.

If a command does not arrive

Confirm that the intended overlay is active, the player shows as connected, and both devices have network access. Refresh the controller if it was open before the overlay loaded. If controls still fail, reload the OBS Browser Source and reconnect the panel.
