How to Create and Manage Clip Playlists

Clipify playlists are reusable clip collections for overlays and curated website galleries. Build the order once, then use it in more than one playback or sharing setup.

Choose how imports update a playlist

Import mode	Existing clips	New matching clips	Best for

Important: A curated gallery follows its playlist immediately. Deleting that playlist clears the gallery reference and unpublishes the gallery.

Create a manual playlist

Open Dashboard > Playlists and add a playlist.
Give it a clear name.
Add clips from the available creator clips.
Drag clips into the order you want.
Select the playlist in an overlay or curated gallery.

Free accounts can use one playlist with up to 50 clips. Pro supports unlimited playlists and playlist clips.

Automatic imports with Pro

Automatic imports can build a playlist from rules such as date, category, minimum views, duration, blocked title words, and creator allow or block lists.

Choose Append to keep existing clips and add new matches. Choose Replace to rebuild the playlist from the current import result. Preview filters carefully before replacing a collection whose manual order matters.

Playback order

An overlay using Order mode follows the playlist sequence. Other playback modes can use the collection as their eligible clip pool. A curated gallery preserves the playlist order for browsing and player navigation.

Editing a shared playlist

Adding, removing, or reordering a clip updates every overlay and curated gallery that references the playlist. Check those destinations after a large edit.

Deleting a playlist

Deleting a playlist removes the collection. An overlay must be assigned another valid source before it can use those clips again. A curated gallery that referenced the deleted playlist loses that reference and is unpublished to prevent a broken public gallery.

Troubleshooting imports

If no clips match, widen the date range and review minimum views, duration, blocked words, creator rules, and category restrictions. If an expected clip is missing, confirm it is available to the selected creator before adjusting filters.
