🚀 Getting Started with Clipify

Getting started with clipify.us only takes a few minutes. This guide walks you through setting up your first clip overlay and using it on stream. 🔑 Step 1: Sign In with Twitch To use Clipify, you need to connect your Twitch account. 1. Go to clipify.us 2. Click Login 3. Sign in with your Twitch account 4. Authorize Clipify to access your clips After login, you will land in the dashboard where you can create and manage overlays. 🧩 Step 2: Create your first overlay Clipify works with overlays. Each overlay has its own settings and its own unique overlay URL. 1. Create a new overlay or open an existing one 2. In the overlay settings, you will see the Overlay URL at the top 3. Use the copy button to copy the URL: Do not share this URL publicly. It is intended for OBS or other streaming software. For websites, use the Embed Widget Tool. 🏷️ Step 3: Name your overlay Give your overlay a name so you can easily identify it later. This is especially useful if you have multiple overlays. Example names: - AFK Overlay - BRB Clips - Starting Soon Clips The overlay name is only visible to you. 🎬 Step 4: Choose an overlay type The overlay type decides which clips are used for playback. Available options include: Top clips Plays top clips from a selected time range: - Today - Last 7 days - Last 30 days - Last 90 days - Last 180 days - Last year Featured only Plays only clips that are marked as featured on Twitch. All clips Plays all available clips from your channel. Clip Queue Plays clips from a queue. This is typically used together with Channel Points and viewer interaction. 🔎 Step 5: Preview which clips match your settings Next to the overlay type selector, you will see a button with a number: - It shows how many clips match your current overlay type and filters - When you click on it, a view opens that lists all clips that match the current filter If the number is 0, no clips will play until you adjust the overlay type or filters. 🎥 Step 6: Add the overlay to OBS To show your clips on stream, add the overlay as a Browser Source. 1. Open OBS 2. In your scene, click + and select Browser Source 3. Paste your overlay URL 4. Use 1920 x 1080 as the resolution to ensure the overlay is scaled correctly 5. Click OK Your clips will now play automatically in that scene. Tip: Use the overlay in scenes like AFK, BRB, Starting Soon, or Intermission. ⭐ Optional: Unlock more with Clipify Pro If you want more control and interaction, Clipify Pro unlocks powerful features that turn breaks into engaging moments. Pro costs less than a coffee per month, and is designed for streamers who want more than a basic AFK screen. 🎁 Viewer interaction with Channel Points With Pro, you can link a Twitch Channel Points reward to an overlay. This allows viewers to: - Redeem Channel Points to interact during breaks - Add clips to a Clip Queue that will be played on stream - Stay engaged even while you are away - Keep chat active instead of going quiet during AFK or BRB scenes - Reduce viewer drop off during breaks - Prevent new viewers from bouncing when they join mid break - Replace static BRB screens with interactive, dynamic content Because viewers continue earning Channel Points during breaks, they are encouraged to stay instead of leaving. Interactive clip playback turns downtime into something viewers can participate in, not just watch. 🎛️ Advanced clip filters Pro gives you full control over clip quality and safety: - Filter clips by minimum and maximum length - Require a minimum number of views - Block clips by words in the title using regex This helps ensure only the best clips are shown on stream. 🧩 Multiple overlays With Pro, you can create multiple overlays for different situations. Examples: - Short clips for quick breaks - Longer clips for AFK - Interactive Clip Queue overlays Each overlay has its own settings and URL. 💬 Chat based control Pro users can control overlays directly from Twitch chat. This allows streamers or moderators to manage clip playback without opening the dashboard. ☕ Worth it? If Clipify already helps keep viewers watching during breaks, Pro gives you: - More engagement - More control - More flexibility All for less than a coffee per month. 👉 Upgrade to Clipify Pro
